UZ Extends Face-To-Face Learning For 1st-Year Students

The University of Zimbabwe (UZ) has announced the extension of face-to-face learning for first-year students to 13 November. We present below the institution’s statement.

FACE-TO-FACE LEARNING FOR FIRST YEAR STUDENTS HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 13 NOVEMBER 2020. THOSE WHO WILL CONTINUE WITH FACE TO FACE LEARNING BEYOND THIS PERIOD WILL BE ADVISED ACCORDINGLY. ALL STUDENTS ARE THEREFORE ADVISED TO CONTINUE WITH THEIR LECTURES AND MAKE ADJUSTMENTS APPROPRIATE. STUDENTS IN CAMPUS RESIDENCE ARE ADVISED TO ENSURE THAT EXTENSION OF THEIR STAY IN UNIVERSITY ACCOMMODATION IS REGULARISED ACCORDINGLY AND NECESSARY ACCOMMODATION FEES TOP-UP IS MADE. THE ON-LINE APPLICATION WINDOW FOR ACCOMMODATION IS CURRENTLY OPEN AND FIRST YEAR STUDENTS REQUIRING ACCOMMODATION FOR THE EXTENDED PERIOD ARE ADVISED TO APPLY. ACCOMMODATION FEE IS CHARGED ON A PRO-RATA BASIS.
